Setting Sail:
Depart from Kardamena Port at 12:00 on selected days, with Captain Dimitris’ vessel offering a scenic journey to Nisyros. Known for its volcanic landscape and cultural sites, this small island is a unique destination in the Dodecanese.
Captivating Stops Along the Way:
Upon arrival at Mandraki Port around 13:00, travelers can join the optional bus tour up to the island’s volcanic crater. For an additional cost, the bus takes you to the crater for a 45-minute exploration where you can witness bubbling sulfur springs and shifting ground. After this experience, the bus returns you to Mandraki.
Exploration in Mandraki:
Enjoy approximately 3 hours of free time in Mandraki. Explore the charming streets, visit the hillside Monastery of Panagia Spiliani, or relax at a local café for an authentic Greek island experience.
Return Journey:
The return begins at 18:30 from Mandraki Port, with arrival back in Kardamena at approximately 19:30, closing out a day filled with adventure and discovery.
